BEHAbelt’s conveyor belts and belting are purely monolithic; i.e. they are made entirely of polyurethane and do not require a fabric insert.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE CONVEYOR BELTS

MICROclean | unique surface finish

MICROclean offers simplified belt cleaning thanks to the wave-shaped surface design. This makes it easier to remove product residues.
In addition, MICROclean ensures improved product release, which in particular simplifies the transfer of the product to the next transport section.

2-component design

The manufacturing option with two components opens up a wide range of possibilities for combining different hardnesses and structures in one conveyor belt. As a result, we are able to perfect your machine design as a development partner.
For example, in belt design for incline conveyors. the transport side can have more grip, but the running side can have good sliding properties.

UV-C resistance

To support regular cleaning, more and more conveyor systems are being equipped with UV-C lamps. This is used for better control of germ counts on food contact surfaces even during the production process. This type of irradiation leads to brittleness and discoloration of the belt surface in the absence of protection. With the addition of a
UV-C protection into our raw materials, we guarantee a longer service life and safety under such application conditions.

Antistatic discharge

For particularly sensitive process sections with electronic measuring and control units such as check weighers (online weighing processes) or conveyor sections with electronic components, belts with antistatic dissipative properties are required to prevent malfunctions or measuring errors.

Weldable accessories for conveyor belts

The areas of application for conveyor belts made of polyurethane are immensely varied. Depending on the industry, the products to be conveyed and the specific system design, conveyor belts not only have to be cut to length and width, but also assembled with cleats, sidewalls or tracking elements. BEHAbelt offers a wide range of flat belt accessories for this purpose, homogeneously extruded from PU in different shore hardnesses.

Our flat belt accessories are made of the same raw materials as the conveyor belts to ensure the best possible weldability and a long service life in the application. Of course, BEHAbelt flat belt accessories are also available FDA/EC/USDA compliant on request and with special properties such as detectable, UV-C resistant or hydrolysis resistant.
